WickTap Refund and Cancellation Policy

Last updated: 28 October 2026

In short: Early Access is free, so there is nothing to refund. If you buy through the TradingView Marketplace, TradingView handles refunds under its own terms. For any direct purchase we may lawfully offer, digital access is not refundable once it has been granted, except where the law requires otherwise or this Policy says so.

1. About this Policy

1.1 This Refund and Cancellation Policy ("Policy") is issued by WickTap ("we", "us", "our"). It forms part of the WickTap Terms and Conditions ("Terms"), and terms defined in the Terms have the same meaning here.

1.2 If this Policy conflicts with the Terms on a question of refunds or cancellation, this Policy prevails.

1.3 Nothing in this Policy excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act 1999 ("CPA") or any other law that cannot be excluded by agreement.

2. Early Access

2.1 Early Access is free. No payment is taken, so no refund applies.

2.2 You may cancel your Early Access registration at any time by emailing hi@wicktap.com.

3. Purchases through the TradingView Marketplace

3.1 TradingView has announced that, from 1 November 2026, access to invite-only scripts may not be sold outside the TradingView Marketplace. Where you buy access to WickTap through the Marketplace:

  • (a) your payment is made to TradingView, and TradingView's terms and policies govern payment, billing, renewal, cancellation, refunds and chargebacks;
  • (b) we do not receive or control your payment and cannot issue refunds for Marketplace Purchases ourselves;
  • (c) any refund or cancellation request must be made to TradingView under its procedures; and
  • (d) if TradingView refunds or reverses your payment, we may remove your access.

3.2 We will cooperate with TradingView's refund and dispute processes where they require our involvement.

4. Direct Purchases (only where lawfully permitted)

4.1 We will offer Direct Purchases only where they are lawfully permitted, including under TradingView's terms at the time. This Section 4 applies only to Direct Purchases.

4.2 Digital access is not refundable once granted. WickTap is a digital product delivered by adding your TradingView username to the access list for the WickTap invite-only script ("Access Granted"). Once Access Granted has occurred, the service has been supplied, and you are not entitled to a refund, a partial refund or a credit, except as set out in Sections 4.4 and 7.

4.3 Before access is granted. If you cancel a Direct Purchase before Access Granted has occurred, we will refund the amount you paid, less any third-party payment processing charge that we have actually incurred and cannot recover.

4.4 When we will refund. We will provide a refund in the following cases:

  • (a) Failure to deliver: we do not grant access within the period stated at the point of sale after your payment has cleared and we have received your correct TradingView username, and you ask to cancel. We will refund in full.
  • (b) Duplicate or incorrect charge: you were charged twice for the same order, or charged an amount different from the price confirmed in your order. We will refund the excess.
  • (c) Order cancelled by us: we refuse or cancel your order before Access Granted (Section 7.4(e) of the Terms). We will refund in full.
  • (d) Discontinuance by us: we discontinue WickTap, or your Subscription plan, without cause (Section 16.3 of the Terms). We will refund the unused portion of your prepaid period on a pro-rata basis.
  • (e) Material reduction or Terms change: you end your Subscription under Section 17.1 or 17.3 of the Terms. We will refund the unused portion of your prepaid period on a pro-rata basis.
  • (f) TradingView prevents supply: TradingView blocks, removes or prohibits the continued supply of WickTap (Section 16.4 of the Terms). We will refund the unused portion of your prepaid period to the extent required by law, including section 66 of the Contracts Act 1950.
  • (g) Mandatory law: a refund or other remedy is required by the CPA (including where the implied guarantees for services in Part VI of the CPA apply) or by any other law that cannot be excluded by agreement.

4.5 When we will not refund. Except under Section 4.4, we do not give refunds for:

  • (a) a change of mind after Access Granted;
  • (b) trading losses, or dissatisfaction with trading results;
  • (c) WickTap's markings not matching your own analysis, expectations or another tool;
  • (d) repaint or real-time behaviour that is described in the Documentation;
  • (e) incompatibility with your TradingView plan, device, browser or data subscription, where the requirements were disclosed before purchase;
  • (f) an incorrect TradingView username that you provided;
  • (g) temporary outages or interruptions, including those caused by TradingView, data vendors, exchanges or a Force Majeure Event (subject to Section 20.3 of the Terms);
  • (h) suspension or closure of your TradingView account because of your own conduct;
  • (i) suspension or termination of your access because you breached the Terms (Section 16.2 of the Terms), including account or username sharing, redistribution or reverse engineering; or
  • (j) any unused part of a Subscription period after you cancel, which continues until the end of the period you have paid for.

4.6 Discretionary refunds. We may, at our sole discretion, give a refund or credit in other cases. Doing so once does not oblige us to do so again, for you or for anyone else.

5. Cancelling a Subscription

5.1 Marketplace Purchases. Cancel through TradingView, under TradingView's terms.

5.2 Direct Purchases. Renewal and cancellation terms: as stated at the point of sale. If your Subscription renews automatically, you may cancel future renewals at any time before the next renewal date. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period, and your access continues until then. Cancellation does not entitle you to a refund for the current period, except under Section 4.4.

6. How to request a refund (Direct Purchases)

6.1 Email us at hi@wicktap.com with "Refund Request" in the subject line, and include: your name; the email address used for the order; your TradingView username; the order date and reference; and the reason for your request.

6.2 We ask that you contact us within fourteen (14) days of the issue arising, so that we can investigate it while the records are fresh. This request does not limit any right you have under law.

6.3 We will acknowledge your request, may ask for further information, and will tell you our decision within a reasonable time.

6.4 Approved refunds are paid to the original payment method where possible. The time the refund takes to reach you depends on your bank or payment provider.

6.5 When a refund is made after Access Granted, we will remove your TradingView username from the access list, and your licence ends.

7. Chargebacks and payment disputes

7.1 Contact us first. For a Direct Purchase, please contact us at hi@wicktap.com before starting a chargeback or payment dispute. Most billing issues can be resolved quickly this way.

7.2 Unjustified chargebacks. If you start a chargeback or payment dispute for a payment that you authorised and for access that was granted, we may:

  • (a) suspend your access while the dispute is resolved, and terminate it if the dispute is resolved in our favour or you have breached the Terms;
  • (b) give the payment provider your order details, access records, correspondence, the Terms and this Policy as evidence;
  • (c) recover from you, to the extent permitted by law, the disputed amount and the reasonable costs we actually incur because of the dispute (such as bank or processor dispute fees); and
  • (d) refuse future purchases from you.

7.3 Your rights are not affected. Nothing in this Section limits your right under law, or under your card issuer's or payment provider's rules, to dispute a payment that you did not authorise or that was taken in error.

7.4 Marketplace Purchases. Chargebacks and disputes for Marketplace Purchases are handled by TradingView under its terms. If TradingView reverses your payment, we may remove your access.

8. Your statutory rights and disputes

8.1 If you are a consumer, you may also lodge a claim with the Tribunal for Consumer Claims Malaysia within its jurisdiction.

8.2 The governing law and dispute provisions in Section 24 of the Terms apply to this Policy.

9. Changes to this Policy

9.1 We may update this Policy in the same way as the Terms (Section 17.3 of the Terms). A change does not affect a refund request for a purchase made before the change took effect, unless the change is more favourable to you.
